This PR adds the Alliance of Genome Resources dataset to the AWS Open Data Registry.

The Alliance of Genome Resources is a consortium that integrates genomic, genetic, and molecular data from leading model organism databases including data from Drosophila, C. elegans, zebrafish, mouse, rat, yeast, Xenopus, and human.

Key Features:

  • Two S3 buckets: Alliance-wide integrated data (mod-datadumps) and FlyBase-specific data (s3ftp.flybase.org)
  • Comprehensive datasets including gene annotations, disease associations, expression data, interactions, orthology, and genome sequences
  • Quarterly release schedule
  • Documentation and tutorials available at https://github.com/alliance-genome/agr_open_data

Resources:

  • Alliance integrated data: s3://mod-datadumps
  • FlyBase Drosophila data: s3://s3ftp.flybase.org (publicly accessible via HTTPS)

Hi @berylrab Sorry for the delay, we're just about done. Another week or two? We ran into some issues with some of the Alliance download data. I'm trying to align it with our upcoming Alliance release. Can I reply when it's ready?

@berylrab I will prioritize it ASAP and it might be done much sooner.

Thank you! No problem on my end, but would love to launch this by end of year :)
